Ghana boss Chris Hughton receives squad boost following the return of Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey from injury.

The former Chelsea defender sustained a shocking injury in his outfit 4-0 victory over WestHam United in the Premier League.

Lamptey lasted only 16 minutes of the game which they eventually picked all points. He was ruled out of Brighton’s 2-2 draw at Leeds United last Saturday.

He suffered a knee injury and has resumed training after visiting the treatment room but it’s unclear whether the Ghana international will be included in the squad for their upcoming AFCON qualifiers on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, new Black Stars head coach Chris Hughton will look to have Tariq available for the double-header against Angola.
