“Surplus” Frederick Ansah Botchway joins Samartex 1996 FC as new signing.
Ghana Premier League newbies, Samartex1996 Football Club have secured the signature of midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway.
The club has confirmed the move after fruitful negotiation with Hearts of Oak and the player’s agent.
On the official Twitter of the debutants of the Premier League, the club revealed Frederick Ansah Botchway has signed a two-year deal.
“We are extremely pleased to announce Super-colossal talent, Frederick Ansah Botchway from Hearts of Oak.” The statement read.
“The fab midfielder will stay with us for a period of two years to influence our progress positively,” an official statement from Samartex FC said on Tuesday.

Hearts of Oak at the end of the season announced that Frederick Ansah Botchway was surplus to requirement thus terminated his contract. However, after some backlash from the fans the club later announced that the player will train with them till he finds another club.
FAB will play an integral role for Sameraboi-based club s they make their debut in the Ghana Premier League.
