Ghana defender, Alexander Djiku has lauded his teammates for clinching a win infront of their numerous fans on Thursday when they faced Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The four-time African champions in Group E week three fixture hosted the Palancas Negras of Angola at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, winning by a lone goal. Ghana scored late to harvest all points as they inch closer to qualification.

AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, climbed off the bench to score the only goal of the game in the stoppage time as Ghana now sit top of Group E with 7 points.

Alexander Djiku who started the game and enjoyed 70 minutes of action due to an injury he suffered, has express delight in his teammates performance.

The Strasbourg man took to twitter, saying
