Shaibu Tanko appointed as new head coach of Karela United

Ghana Premier League side, Karela United FC has appointed Ghanaian trainer Shaibu Tanko as new head coach.

The former Real Tamale United gaffer takes over from Bismark Kobby-Mensah who resigned as technical head weeks ago.

Tanko was officially introduced to the playing body on Sunday after their 1-0 defeat against Great Olympics.

He is expected to sit on the bench on Thursday when they play Asante Kotoko at home.

Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko becomes Karela United 7th coach in their history since 2014.
