Sam George reacts to Chris Hughton appointment as Ghana new coach

Sam George, Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency upon hearing the confirmation of British born Ghanaian Chris Hughton as Black Stars new coach proclaimed loud over his earlier reportage on it.

The Member for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), few weeks ago told the media that the Ghana Football Association has offered the vacant Black Stars coaching role to the former Newcastle United trainer Chris Hughton.

He replaces Otto Addo who left after Ghana’s campaign at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Chris will be assisted by George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani.

Sam George took to twitter, to express his shock, on their appointed after they demanded for his head for breakfast.

“This Country called Ghana eh, may God just continue to give us grace.

The tactician who served as technical advisor to the Ghana senior national team during the global showpiece in Qatar, has previously managed Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion.

His assignment starts next month when he leads Black Stars to will host the Black Antelopes, who also have four points, on Monday, March 20, 2023.

The reverse fixture will take place eight days later (March 28) away in Angola, accounting for the round four fixture of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.

The venue and kick off time are yet to be confirmed.
