The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in February confirmed former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United FC boss, Chris Hughton as Ghana’s new manager.

The 64-year old replaced Otto Addo who abandoned the coaching role after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, seeing Ghana finish bottom of Group H with 3 points. Hughton was serving as technical advisor to the team which had George Boateng, Masawudu Dramani and Otto Addo at the tournament.

He is yet to be unveiled despite announcing his final 25-man squad for their upcoming AFCON qualifiers double-header against Angola later this month.

Monday, March 20, 2023 he is expected to be officially unveiled in Kumasi.
