Red-hot Kudus Mohammed wins Man of the Match Award in Ajax victory over SC Heerenveen

Black Stars midfielder, Kudus Mohammed was adjudged man of the match in Ajax’s crucial triumph over Heerenveen on Sunday afternoon in the Dutch Eredivisie.

The matchday 25 fixture ended 2-4 for Ajax Amsterdam who are aiming for a double this season.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed excelled to win Man-Of-The-Match award once again with sterling performance on the afternoon. He got on the scoresheet after putting Ajax Amsterdam infront in the 10th minute before assisting Edson Alvarez to double their lead in the 16th minute.

With a minute to the 20th minute, Steven Bergwijn extended the lead for Ajax with a cool finish before Pelle van and Amersfoort reduced the deficit for the host on the stroke of halftime.

7 minutes into the second half, Kenneth Taylor made it 4-1 for the visitors before Heerenveen’s Van Hooijdonk 72nd minute goal ended the match in a six-goal thriller.

Kudus, 22, enjoyed full throttle of the game to clinch the MVP award to add to many won already.

He has now been involved in 23 goals for Ajax across all competitions this season, scoring 18 times and providing five assists including UEFA Champions League goals.
