Red-hot Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil scores again to hand Genk a vital win

In-form Ghanaian winger, Joseph Paintsil can’t just scoring as he again banged in a goal to hand KRC Genk an important away victory.

Paintsil who is in his form of his life, registered his tenth goal of the season to power KRC Genk to a win over Gent on Sunday.

The Blue and Whites in a five goal thriller defeated the Buffaloes by 2-3 at the Ghelamco Arena to widen their gap at the top of the Belgian Jupiler Pro league.

The former Tema Youth star opened the scoring account on the 23rd minute, coupled with two other goals from Yira Sor and T.E Arokodare.
 
South Korea’s Hyeon-seok Hong and Laurent Depoitre scored both goals for Gent.
 
Joseph Paintsil in the ongoing campaign recorded 20 goal contribution, having scored 10 and assisted 10 in 20 outings so far in the Belgian topflight.
 
KRC Genk are still holding onto their lead with 62 points, seven points adrift second-place Union St Gilloise.
 
Painstil and his side will next host Royal Antwerp in the next round of matches.
