President Cup: Ex-Black Star players to play curtain-raiser before Hearts of Oak vs Asante Kotoko SC clash
The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) have engaged retired Black Star players to feature at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday before Super clash between Hearts of Oak SC and Asante Kotoko SC.
The 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League match-week 20 encounter will serve as 2023 President Cup asuch, a curtain-raiser ahead of epic clash. Organisers of the President Cup, GHALCA have spoken to former Black Star players to grace the occasion before the main event of the day.
The President Cup is a game played annually to honour the President of the West African Country, Ghana.
It was last hosted in the Capital and saw the Continental Club Masters clinch it after beating the Porcupine Warriors 2-1. Patrick Razak’s brilliant run from the center circle was calmly slotted in after dribbling past Imoro Ibrahim and Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
The ex-footballers will play at exactly 1:00 PM before Hearts of Oak SC kickoff their clash with Asante Kotoko SC 3:00 PM.
