The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has finally joined his new home in Switzerland after several weeks sealing a deal.

Early this week, Barnieh landed in the European Country and begun training with Swiss side FC Zürich for the first time on Wednesday.

Daniel Afriyie joined FC Zürich in January from Ghana Premier League giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC on a long-term contract following a successful agreement.

The Black Stars forward signed for FC Zürich when he was in Algeria with Black Galaxies for the 2022 CHAN tournament. He joined for an undisclosed fee, signing a contract until June 2026 with the club.

Barnieh was one of Hearts of Oak key members, playing a major role in their FA Cup title wins as well as the Ghana Premier League triumph two seasons ago.

His performance earned him a call-up to the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Black Stars.
