On loan Leicester City striker, Nathan Opoku says he has been left in the dark as to where he will play beyond next season.

The Ghanaian international joined the Premier League side Syracuse University and was loaned out to OH Leuven in Belgium.

The promising attacker has already established himself in the first team at Leuven and scored his first professional goal – as well as assisting in another and being named man of the match – in a 4-1 victory over Mechelen this past weekend.

Speaking after the match about what his future holds, 21-year-old Opoku told Het Nieuwsblad: “That’s not my decision. I just show what I can do and try to contribute something, the rest is for others to decide. Neither from OH Leuven nor from Leicester have I heard anything about next season.

“I have no idea where I will play then, but if Leicester think it’s a good idea for me to stay in Leuven for another year, that’s fine,” he added.
