Nora Häuptle picks first win with Black Queens
The Swiss International has begun work with an emphatic win over Benin for the senior national women’s team of Ghana, Black Queens.
Nora led the ladies to Benin for an International friendly game on Sunday in Cotonou, recording a 3-0 win after seeing her side go up with a 3-0 scoreline in the first half.
Princella Adubea broke the deadlock in the 28th minute with a beauty of a goal before Princess Owusu doubled the lead 9 minutes later with a beautiful run from midfield to dribble pass the shot-stopper.
Then Evelyn Badu finished a volley with the third goal to had Black Queens a 3-0 win at break.
Nora’s side continued to dominate in the second half, but could not increase their goals tally despite impressive output from all substitutes.
Ghana Black Queens will play Togo in their next international friendly, hoping to put team in right balance.
The former Swiss Footballer was appointed Black Queens head coach on January 05, 2023.
The 39-year-old former Swiss International is a product of the University of Bern where she attained her Masters in Sports Sciences – also a Bachelor of Philosophy and Minor in Theatre Sciences.
