Skipper for Black Queens, Janet Egyir has heap praises on their head coach Nora Häuptle after dispatching Senegal in double-header international friendly.

The Ghana senior female national team invited the Teranga Lionesses for an international friendly as part of their process to build a strong team for competitions such as the WAFU Cup of Nations and the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

Ghana silenced Senegal 4-0 on aggregate with first leg encounter on Sunday ending 3-0 before a late goal from Evelyn Badu saw Ghana with a 1-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday.

Before, Black Queens game against Senegal they thrashed Benin 3:0 in an international friendly at Stade de l’Amitie in Cotonou.

The former Swiss International Nora Häuptle has led Queens through three games, scoring 7 and yet to concede.

Janet Egyir has hailed the technical prowess of head coach Nora Häuptle, saying; “Let’s say she has brought in a good impact in terms of our game play, she wants her team to always have possession.

“And she always wants the build-up to start from the back and so she has brought a lot of different stuffs” Janet Egyir told Radio Gold Sports.

Nora before her appointment as Ghana coach served as technical advisor to the Ghana U-20 national team during the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica where the team got eliminated at the preliminary round after three defeats.
