Nima Dreams: A documentary about how lack of infrastructure is affecting talent growth

The documentary dubbed “Nima Dreams” covers the struggle footballers go through in Nima to get playing surface as they seek to pursue their dreams to the top.

As a town consisting of over half a million people, only two football pitches – Kanda Cluster of Schools Park and Kawokudi Park are available for use.

The two pitches are massively under pressure from a plethora of teams as well as school competitions.

Ajax Star Mohammed Kudus, Majeed Ashimeru of Anderlecht and Abdul Manaf Nurudeen who also plies his trade in Belgium for Eupen had to rely on academies to make it to the very top.

Those who do not get similar opportunities tend to divert their football dreams to other endeavours.
