MTN FA Cup: King Faisal, RTU, Skyy FC, Legon Cities sail through to next round

The 2023 MTN FA Cup has seen it quarterfinal teams after a successful round of 16 games on Saturday and Sunday.

Eight(8) teams have secured their tickets, expected to be paired for the quarter-finals by the MTN FA Cup Committee in the coming days.

It was shocking to see, heavyweights Asante Kotoko SC suffer defeat in the hands of Aduana Stars FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park following a 1-0 scoreline.

Another Premier league club that secured qualification was Dreams FC. The Still Believe lads humbled lower-tier side Liberty Professionals FC 3-0 at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Saturday.

King Faisal FC run away with a 1-0 victory over Steadfast FC.

Legon Cities despite their poor run in the top-flight managed to put behind them to qualify ahead of Volta Rangers, on penalties 4-3 after a 1-1 scoreline in full time.
