The 22-year-old defender could not complete Ghana’s final training session with his teammates ahead of clash against Angola.

Ghana will play the Palancas Negras of Angola on Thursday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Group E match day 3 fixture.

The Southampton defender was spotted walking to the dressing room whiles the team was training. It’s understood he has picked a knock and now a doubt for Ghana’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying game against Angola on Thursday.

Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton confirmed the player is doubtful for tomorrow’s encounter at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium tomorrow.

“Our only injury concern is Salisu; he’s a doubt for the game because he’s suffered some recent injuries at his club,” the former Brighton boss said at his pre-match presser.

The 23-year-old defender has only returned from injury and played his first 83 minutes in for the club against Tottenham on Saturday.
