Mohammed Kudus targets domestic double with Ajax at the end of season
Red-hot Mohammed Kudus,has set sight on winning double with Ajax Amsterdam to consider the 2022-23 league season a successful one.
The Ghana international wants to guide the Dutch giants to a domestic double at the end of the campaign, having been in a blistering form.
The 22-year-old has been in an enigmatic form for both club and country this season scoring 19 goals and recording four assists across all competitions.
Ten goals and an assist for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie.
With Ajax exiting the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, there are just two trophies to fight for John Heitinga’s side and Kudus is hopeful of winning both at the end of the season in order to label the campaign as successful.
“The goal is to win the cup and the league and until I achieve that I haven’t done anything yet. So there is more coming. More work to be done,” Kudus told Ajax TV in an interview.
Ajax currently sit second on the Eredivisie league table with three points behind leaders, Feyenoord, while they are also in the semifinal of the Dutch Cup.
