Asante Kotoko Receive Injury Boost As Midfielder Returns
Ghanaian midfielder, Rashid Nortey has returned from injury for Champions Asante Kotoko SC after weeks of sideline.
Nortey, 27, joined the Porcupine Warriors during the 2022-23 league season second round transfer window as a free agent from Medeama SC. In February, he sustained an injury but now back to join the rest of squad.
He is availability to play for the team again.
Rashid Nortey since joining has made just five appearance after getting injuried in Kotoko’s stalemate against Nsoatreman FC.
He will be aiming to get the nod again as he returns ahead of the team’s clash with Berekum Chelsea having missed seven games.
However, he may have to work hard to reclaim his place due to the club’s managerial changes.
Abdul Gazale, the youth coach, took over following Seydou Zerbo’s dismissal.
