Medeama SC deepen woes of King Faisal FC with another defeat
The Insha Allah Boys travelled to the Tarkwa and Aboaso Park for their week 32 fixture against Medeama SC. At full time, King Faisal succumbed to the Mauves and Yellow outfit with a 2-1 defeat.
The visitors took the advantage to open the scores in the 10th minute through captain Samuel Kusi to burry all noise at the T & A Park with an enigmatic long range strike. Kusi scored a puskas goal and a goal of the season contender after picking a lose ball at the central left of the pitch and quickly gave a shot after noticing the homesters goalkeeper Felix Kyei had left his line.
Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu and his charges could not hold unto their lead only to suffer an equalizer 9 minutes later.
Nurudeen Abdulai headed home a pull out from the right side of their attack, making sure shot-stopper Adams Abdul Jabal fails to deal with it. His equalizer maintained scores at 1-1 for the break.
After recess, Coach Evans Adotey made few substitutions to dominate play in the first 20 minutes of the encounter.
With 3 minutes to the 70th minute mark, the host went infront for the first time in the clash. It was Joshua Agyemang coming through the much-needed strike.
Medeama SC managed to curtail the Insha Allah Boys who are battling relegation, from causing havoc after they mounted severe pressure on them in the last 8 minutes and the stoppage time.
The win means, the Mauves and Yellow outfit extend their lead on the league log with 4 points, having accumulated 56 points from 32 matches played with Aduana Stars second with 52 points.
King Faisal are left 17th placed with 36 points.
