MATCH REPORT: Manaf Umar bag brace to see RTU draw in Dormaa

Ghanaian youngster Abdul Manaf Umar second half brace in Dormaa secured Real Tamale United a point in their Premier league away game to Aduana Stars FC on Sunday.

With first half ending in a goalless draw, the ‘Pride of The North’ were confident of amassing a positive result from the road as they recorded an enviable 2-2 scoreline at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park. Kwame Adom Frimpong broke the deadlock to put Aduana Stars infront 30 minutes after recess before former Accra Hearts of Oak creative midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar levelled for the visitors, RTU in 85th minute.

Exactly, at the 83rd minute, Manaf bagged his second of the day to hand RTU the lead, however , a late screamer from Solomon Aboagye in the 90+10 mark equalized for Aduana Stars FC.

A minute later, the center referee ended the match day 23 fixture with a 2-2 draw.

The draw means Aduana Stars points accumulated is 40, sitting top of the log whiles Real Tamale United FC sit 13th with 29 points.
