Black Starlets humble Spain in UEFA U-16 youth development tournament
The Black Starlets recorded their second straight win on Saturday afternoon in a five-goal thriller against Spain as they raised high the flag of Ghana.
Ghana’s U-16 team led by Coach Karim Zito once again had a good start to his second game in the UEFA U-16 four-nation tournament ongoing in Serbia as he came good against their counterparts Spain. The Starlets had the largest share of the meet with a 3-2 emphatic victory.
Though, Ghana suffered two red cards but managed to hold Spain down the grave with sweet victory.
Once again, Benjamin Tsivanyo came to the party on the afternoon. The three goal hero in Ghana’s first game of the tournament thus against Serbia, Benjamin Tsivanyo bagged brace to inspire his country to amass a win.
With Tsivano scoring twice, Peter Hammond was there to torment and write his name on the scoresheet, making it three as Ghana failed to keep a cleansheet. They conceded twice to end the game 3-2.
The Black Starlets in two games, have scored 7 goals and conceded two.
