Great Olympics dropped points at home as they were held to a 0-0 goalless draw against Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium, in what was Timber Giants ninth draw this season.

Indebted to their goalkeeper and back line, the home side would greatly be thankful for the timely intervention of their defensive setup. The Dade goalkeeper – Benjamin Asare was put to the test by the ever blazing Samartex as he had to come out of his comfort zone to always force the dangerous balls out.

It was a low point in what has been a frustrating match for the Dade Mashie, having failed to shake off last weekend’s mauling at King Faisal.

In between the 90 minutes of play, both sides had their chances – missing a couple of good chances.

The goalless draw, now the sixth for Great Olympics this campaign has still left them in the twelve spot with 27 points. Samartex dropped to the ninth spot on 30 points.
