The Black Queens of Ghana, on Tuesday afternoon ensured they settle a better discourse with their Africa counterparts Senegal in an International friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Evelyn Badu’s late strike was enough for Nora Häuptle and her charges to complete a double over Senegal with a 1-0 victory. Badu scored in the 84th minute to hand the Queens the narrow win.

Last Sunday, the Black Queens thump Senegal in the first leg by 3-0 with Gifty Assifuah netting brace before Grace Asantewaa got her name on the scoresheet with one.

The two matches is expected to serve Coach Nora Hauptle an opportunity to assess the strength of the team and strategize for the future.

The Black Queens even before, beating Senegal 3-0 on Sunday defeated Benin 3:0 in an international friendly at Stade de l’Amitie in Cotonou.

It was also part of the process to build a strong team for competitions such as the WAFU Cup of Nations and the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers.
