King Faisal have dropped to the relegation zone after sharing spoils with Bibiani Goldstars in the Ghana Premier League match-week 22 fixture on Monday afternoon.

The ‘Insha Allah’ lads were held to a thrilling 0-0 draw by Bibiani Goldstars at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese.

King Faisal, who enjoyed majority of the first half with goal glaring opportunities failed to make them count as it ended in a scoreless draw at the break.

Goalkeeper Joseph Baah made two magnificent saves on the 13th and 18th minute to deny Samuel Boakye and Baba Yahaya from registering their names on the score sheet.

Bibiani Goldstars had a lot of defensive duties following the intense pressure from the upfront of the host when they were in search for the opener.

Momentum shifted after the break with Bibiani Goldstars FC making some early incursions after failing to hit a ball on target in the first department of the game.

Midfield Stephen Banahene came close to snatch the opener on the 78th minute for the visitors but his strike went straight into the woodwork.

The two teams could be found guilty for squandering the chances and set-pieces awarded to them by the referee as the game ended in a 0-0 draw at Abrankese.

Following the scoreless draw, Bibiani Goldstars have moved up to 7th position with 32 points while King Faisal slips to the drop-zone with 25 points after twenty-two matches in the ongoing season.
