MATCH REPORT: Aduana Stars sink Kotoku Royals with heavy defeat

Two-time Premier league winner’s, Aduana Stars FC recorded another sweet victory following triumph over debutants Kotoku Royals on Thursday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Drawing goalless with Bibiani GoldStars in their match-week 11 game away, Aduana Stars needed to return to winning ways. Thanks to first half goals from the host.

Former Asante Kotoko SC winger Emmanuel Gyamfi gave the Fire Boys the lead in the 17th minute before Stephen Anokye Badu increased their goal tally in first half stoppage time.

Much was not needed after break, though Kotoku Royals gave a very good accounts of themselves but could not get a consolation goal, ending game 2-0 in favour of Aduana Stars FC.

The win still keeps Aduana Stars FC on the summit of the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League with 23 points with Kotoku Royals left bottom with just 7 points after 12 League games.
