Kenpong Agyapong dissolves Kenpong Football Academy technical team
Ghanaian Businessman who owns and manages, second-tier club in Ghana, Kenpong Somua Agyapong has dissolved the entire technical team of the club despite few days to the resumption of second round games.
After first round of the 2022-23 Access Division One League, President of the club has taken a decision to relieved the technical bench led by former Asante Kotoko SC gaffer Stephen Frimpong Manso following a meeting held over the weekend.
It’s unclear, reason for the outfit to see it technical team and medical staffs dissolved but the action by the business mogul is not the first.
After seeing the team book qualification to the country’s second-tier having spend just a season in Division Three, fired his staff which had veteran Ghanaian trainer and former Ghana Football Association (GFA) technical director, Dr. Francis Oti-Akenteng, ex-Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah, Sammy Adjei another ex-Ghana international, Edward Ansah, Emmanuel Ampiah, and Emmanuel Armah Senegal.
Edward Ansah, Emmanuel Ampiah, and Emmanuel Armah Senegal later rejoined the club having Stephen Frimpong Manso as head coach but now left after a meeting was held.
Former Berekum Chelsea FC trainer, Moses Coffie now takes over as head coach of Kenpong Football Academy.
Kenpong Football Academy lies mid-table of the 2022-23 Access Bank Division One League.
