JUST IN: Asante Kotoko SC talisman Franck Mbella leaves for Al Masry big money
Giant’s Asante Kotoko SC kingpin Franck Mbella Etouga has left Ghana to Egypt seal Al Masry move, your authoritative sports hub, Nkrataasem.com can confirm.
The 20-year old Cameroonian who joined the Ghana Premier League side before commencement of last season campaign, has sealed a deal in the Egyptian topflight and has left for it. He will be joining Al Masry should all paper works go through.
He is expected to sign a three year contract worth $1.5 million.
Checks reveals the Reds will receive an amount of $400,000 as the transfer fee, with the latter also pocketing $25,000 as a monthly salary.
Mbella in his one year stint with Asante Kotoko scores 21-goals to finish as the club top scorer and second top scorer of the league.
His impressive performance guided the Porcupine Warriors to their 24th Premier League title last season.
