JUST IN: Asante Kotoko SC file official complaint over poor officiating in game against Dreams FC

Champions Asante Kotoko SC have dragged referee Rustum Senorgbe to the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee, following poor show down in Dawu on Sunday afternoon.

The Porcupine Warriors are disturbed with how Ghanaian FIFA referee Selborne handed their Premier league away game to Dreams FC in Dawu, Theatre of Dreams. Kotoko lost 2-0 in their week 17 encounter after conceding in each half.

With the performance of referee Senorgbe below average, Premier league record holder’s (25) have written an official complaint to the authorities on two account’s.

Firstly, Dreams FC first goal from Aholou Avocevou was an offside goal and should not have stand.

Secondly, midfielder Rashid Nortey wa penalised in Dreams FC box in the second half and should have been awarded a penalty but saw center referee order a play on without calling the shot.

Club Notice from Asante Kotoko SC reads;

The club after a careful study of yesterday’s game footage has filed a Complaint with the GFA against the decisions of the officiating officials.

The defeat means Asante Kotoko SC have won just two games away this season with three draws in 8 matches.

Currently, sitting 4th on the log with 27 points after 17 Premier League matches.
