Joseph Paintsil scores in KRC Genk draw to Eupen
Ghana international Joseph Paintsil was on the scoresheet for KRC Genk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Wednesday evening against Eupen.
The winger scored to inspire his outfit to a 1-1 draw away after netting the opener of the game at the Kehrwegstadion.
Paintsil scored in the 17th minute from a beautiful pass from Bryan Heynen. His goal could only sustained them for few minutes of the game as the visitors settled for a draw following Stef Peeters 26th minute gaol from 12-yards.
The Belgian International squeezed out the best for the host, Eupen to stun league leaders from extending their lead.
KRC Genk draw away leaves them with 59th points after 23 league games, 7 points better off Union St. Gilloise who sit second.
Paintsil now has 18 goals involvement with 10 goals scored.
