Hearts of Oak coach David Ocloo not giving up on Ghana Premier League title

Assistant coach of Accra Hearts of Oak SC, David Ocloo insist his outfit can clinch the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League title despite unconvincing results and performance.

After beating Nsoatreman FC 2-1 on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, Hearts of Oak SC have moved 3rd position on the league log w

ith five points separating them and Aduana Stars FC, league leaders.

Nsoatreman FC shot themselves in the feet after conceding first through an own goal which gave the host the upper strength to go for a second.

Yaw Baafi then scored a stunner in the 66th minute before the Premier league debutants pulled one back through Samuel Ofori.

Speaking after the game, Ocloo did not give up on the title chasing stating how optimistic he is and that it’s possible Hearts of Oak SC can win the league.

“Yeah it’s possible. We will continue working hard and see. If at the end of the season we’re on top we will be grateful but we are working hard for that.”

The Continued Club Masters will travel away to Bechem United for their next match.
