Moldova-based defender Patrick Kpozo has expressed joy after getting called up to Black Stars for Ghana’s upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola.

The left-back earned his maiden call-up following an impressive outing with Sheriff Tiraspol making close to 24 appearance in all competitions including Europa League matches .

He says it’s an honour to represent the Black Stars after making the squad for the double-header AFCON qualifiers against Angola.

Patrick took to twitter to say; “It is an honour to represent the Senior National team of the Blackstars ????????????”

The four-time African champions will play host to Angola on March 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium before the reverse fixture in Luanda on March 27.

Ghana after two games, currently lead Group E of the qualifiers with four points, with Angola second with same points before Central African Republic and Madagascar in that order.
