Head Coach of Bibiani GoldStars SC, Michael Osei says his charges sensational comeback win against Tamale City FC on Saturday was an amazing victory.
GoldStars from a goal down recorded a convincing 3-2 win over the Premier league debutants at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium after Sampson Eduku had opened the scores in the 6th minute for the host.
Emmanuel Appau levelled for the Miner’s in the first half stoppage time before experienced forward Abednego Tetteh netted brace in the second half to hand GoldStars all maximum points in their week 14 fixture of the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League.
The comeback in their five goal thriller marks their third away win this season with a draw in 7 matches.
Speaking to Kolog Bonaventure after the encounter, said his team really gave a good fight to overturn the outcome of the game. However, is was not surprised of his players performance.
“I am not surprised we overturned the scoreline in Tamale, the team is in good shape with confidence level high”

“Abednego substitution came at the right time, I am personally happy for him to bring impact in the game”
“But I will say, it was a very difficult game. They [Tamale City] are very young and talented team that can cause havoc any day but we really showed a winning mentality ”
