INJURY BOOST: Dickson Afoakwa returns for Asante Kotoko SC ahead of Samartex clash
The Ghanaian winger Dickson Afoakwa has resumed training and looks ready for Asante Kotoko SC weekend’s game against FC Samartex.
Asante Kotoko SC fans have not seen much of Dickson Afoakwa this season due to injuries. He sustained a ligament injury which needed to put him off for close to 5-weeks, however, he’s back.
The right-footed attacker early this week, returned to the pitch to join his teammates at Adako Jachie training complex as they prepare for 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League match-week 22 fixture against the Timber Giant’s.
He is expected to make match day squad for their away game as they hope to catch up with league leaders Aduana Stars FC for the title race.
Kotoko sit 5th on the log with 31 points with an outstanding game against King Faisal FC.
