"I'm very disappointed, they're making my work difficult" - Bismark Kobby Mensah
Great Olympics head coach, Bismark Kobby Mensah has expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of his lads in their narrow defeat to Aduana Stars in GPL match-week 26
The ‘Wonder Club’ suffered a painful 1-0 loss against the ‘Fire Boys’ in Abrankese and that’s their seventh consecutive defeat away from home on Saturday afternoon- with their last away win happening against Kotoku Royals in January.
Crunchy tie it was with both sides given each other a great run for their money but it was Frank Owusu’s 53rd minute cheap goal that snatched all three maximum points for the host.
Reacting to the defeat, the Black Galaxies assistant stated bluntly he is very disappointed, having described the goal they conceded as ‘cheap’ and added they are making things extremely difficult for him in the capital.
“I’m very very disappointed especially with the way we conceded the goal. You can’t concede a goal like this when you are serious but tactically we were very strong, we played with a very good team but we stopped them from playing.
“We put them under pressure on so many occasions, created a lot of chances but we couldn’t take them and gave out an unfortunate goal in the end. I’m not happy, they’re making things very difficult for me.”
Great Olympics have dropped into the relegation zone once again as they currently sit 16th with 31 points and will face Tamale City in the next round of matches.
