Ghana and Nigeria renew their ageless rivalry as they go head-to-head in the grand finale of the Middle East Africa Rugby League Championship on Saturday, October 1.

The Leopards of Ghana were unstoppable against Kenya in the semi-final, securing a comprehensive 26-6 win at the University of Ghana’s Mensah Sarbah Hall Park.

It was a similar story for Ghana’s old foes Nigeria who whitewashed Cameroon in the other semi-final game. They won 36-2.

The stage is set for an enthralling final involving the two powerhouses on the African continent.

Kenya and Cameroon will compete for honours in the third-place playoff.
