Hearts of Oak SC capture winger Clinton Appiah

Accra Hearts of Oak have on Tuesday signed a young wing sensation Appiah Clinton on a 5-year deal. The youngster becomes Hearts’ first signing of the winter with many more expected to arrive in the coming days.

Appiah Clinton joined the Phobians from lower-tier side Lazio FC and once featured for Ashantigold FC.

Appiah is unusual in that he is a right-footed winger who plays on the right – but he also does far more than just run towards the byline and put a cross into the box.

He manoeuvres himself intelligently to beat opponents and uses his huge stride and devastating pace to run diagonally towards goal.
