Hearts of Oak release midfielder William Opoku Asiedu

Accra Hearts of Oak SC have parted ways with midfielder William Opoku Asiedu after a short stint.

The reigning MTN FA Cup champions signed the Ghanaian midfielder prior to the start of 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League. With the training and experience picked from English side Middlesbrough, many were expecting high class performance from Opoku Asiedu but turned out to be a flop.

On Thursday, the Continental Club Masters confirmed decision to release him with immediate effect.

“Accra Hearts of Oak has mutually parted ways with William Opoku Asiedu a player of the club.”

“We thank him for his services whilst at the club and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.”
