Hearts of Oak game gave us biggest revenue in Bibiani – GoldStars CEO Akwasi Adu

Bibiani GoldStars SC after hosting giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani over the weekend in their league game, earned a whooping Gh₵52,000 from gate proceeds.

The Miner’s entertained the Continental Club Masters in their 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League match-week 21 fixture on Sunday, with game ending in stalemate. GoldStars were held to a 1-1 draw despite putting up a sterling performance and creating numerous chances.

Evans Wusu in the 4th minute, gave the host the lead from the left-side of their attack.

Bibiani GoldStars SC were better on the day but had to suffer from poor marking in what was almost the last kick of the game. 90+9 minute, saw substitute Isaac Mensah connect a free-kick with a powerful header to draw parity at the Dun’s Park.

Hearts of Oak SC had buses conveying supporters to the venue to support the Phobians which eventually handed them a point away.



According to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bibiani GoldStars SC, Akwasi Adu fixture against Hearts of oak SC recorded over Gh₵52,000 from gate proceeds and that by far is their biggest revenue generated this season.

“We recorded over Gh₵52,000 from gate proceeds in our game against Accra Hearts of Oak and it is the biggest revenue generated from our games so far this season,” Adu told Kumasi FM.

Bibiani GoldStars SC have already played Asante Kotoko SC at home with scores, ending on a 1-1 draw.

Currently, they sit 6th with 31 points after week 21 matches.
