Coach David Ocloo’s team has received a major boost with the return of captain Gladson Awako ahead of their game against Nsoatreman on Sunday night.

The midfielder has been out of action for the Phobians for some few weeks now after picking an injury whilst on national team assignment with the Black Galaxies in Algeria for the CHAN tournament.

Awako hasn’t featured for the Phobians since his last match against league leaders Aduana FC at the Accra Sports stadium. He was substituted in the 63rd minutes after aggravating the injury.

He could not even make match day squad for the Phobians super clash against Asante Kotoko SC.

Awako has returned and could be available for selection in Sunday’s fixture with Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Though his services were greatly missed, others who stepped up to take his place in subsequent games gave good account of themselves to keep the team’s never say die spirit going.

Another player that returned to training this week ahead of matchday-26 is centre back Robert Addo Sowah who also missed a chunk of the games due to an injury he sustained in our game against Aduana Stars.

He resumed minor training works few days ago before joining the entire squad for training. Addo could be available for selection on Sunday as well.
