Greek side GS Ilioupolis sign Ghana U23 star Hagan Frimpong

Greek side GS Ilioupolis have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Hagan Frimpong from Accra Lions FC.

The Ghana Premier League outfit confirmed the transfer of the workaholic midfielder to the Greek second-tier side on Wednesday after putting pen to paper and passing his mandatory test.

The Ghana U23 midfielder following his sterling performance with Accra Lions FC in the top-flight impressed the Greek club who believes in his talent and has offered him a two year contract.

The 20-year-old scored 4 goals in 41 league appearances during his stay at the club but was a member of the team since last season, when they made their maiden Premier league appearance.

Hagan becomes the third player to leave Accra Lions this month following the departures of striker Fredrick Asante and defender Jacob Amu Mensah to Chinese second-tier club Shanghai Jiading.
