Great Olympics won’t be relegated, says Agyemang Badu
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu confident Great Olympics will escalate relegation
Great Olympics midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu insist Great Olympics FC will not suffer relegation this season despite being hit hard with abysmal performance.
The Capital-based outfit have yet to exhibit great performance since changing technical direction. They sacked Yaw Preko for Bismark Kobby-Mensah but still battling relegation.
Currently, sitting 16th on the standings with 36 points looks almost a gooner considering points amassed by clubs lying 10th position. Nevertheless, ex-Ghana international Agyemang Badu believes the Dade Boys will survive it.
Olympics have 3 matches remaining to cement their place in next season’s Premier league campaign after drawing 1-1 with Karela United FC on week 31 fixture.
“Let me state this, Olympics will never go to relegation, that will not happen. It is a Wonder club so at times things like this can happen”. he told Richmond K. Entsie {GFA} on Original FM.
Badu who reportedly left the club in the second round due to issues with management stated that, he still has contract binding with as Dade player.
“I still have a contract with Olympics and I don’t want my name be in the records book that I signed for Olympics and the team went on relegation. Although I have some problems with them{Olympics} which am not with them right now but legally I am still a a player of Great Olympics. I still support them, I speak to the guys to do what they can to help, fortunately I think we got one point yesterday from Karela which is a very great point for us.
“we are now going to our favorite grounds which is Sogakope against Accra Lions which will be a very difficult game but with this draw we have gotten from Karela I think will help us move up when we win the game against Accra Lions and we will build on that draw and see what happens on Sunday”. He concluded.
