Ghana’s Daniel-Kofi Kyereh continues brilliant form for SC Freiburg in Europa League

The 28-year-old Ghana forward featured in SC Freiburg UEFA Europa League draw to Olympiacos on Thursday night.

Daniel Kofi-Kyereh once again, commanded a starting berth for the Bundesliga side as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Greece giant’s Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa League group stage’s penultimate round.

The Ghana international who joined the side in the summer transfer from Bundesliga 2 side St.Pauli was in a blistering form in the entire game, exhibited high level of performance near a man of the match performance.

The visitors wasted no time, tormenting the host for the opener through Youssef El Arabi, breaking the deadlock in the first half.

However, Kofi-Kyereh’s Freiburg will not stand to lose all points at home asuch fought back to level. Thanks, to a late goal from Lukas Kübler in the stoppage time.

SC Freiburg rallied on to end the game stalemate following a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Black Stars attacking midfielder Daniel Kofi-Kyereh enjoyed 64 minutes of the game getting replaced by attacker Woo Jeong.

He has scored three goals and provided two assists in the ongoing campaign for SC Freiburg.
