Ghana’s Alfred Mensah joins CSM Reșița in Romania

Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Mensah has made a move to the Romanian top-flight on a loan spell.

Mensah has completed his loan move to CSM Reșița with an option to make the deal permanent should he impress the technical team.

The third-tier club confirmed Mensah’s acquisition last week in a statement they posted.

“We welcome the players, Trancă Remus, Alfred Boateng Mensah and Dane Alexandru to the Valley of Doman!” the statement said.

“Alfred Boateng Mensah is a central midfielder born in 1996 and developed at: Zeeburgia, Magreb 90′ USV Herculealmere City U21, Hurricane Morag, Pandurii Târgu Jiu.”

The Dutch-born midfielder was without a club before being trialed by the Romania side.
