Ghana star Kamaldeen Sulemana in doubt for 2022 World Cup with injury
Stade de Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has sustained injury with few days to 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Ghana international suffered an injury on Thursday during his side’s Europa League game against AEK Larnaca.
The French Ligue 1 side were held to a 1-1 draw at home after Matthis Abline early goal was cancelled out in the second half.
Kamaldeen Sulemana could not make the match day squad for the Europa League.
He is in doubt for the World Cup after an injury he picked up.
“Kamaldeen had pain in his ankle. Yesterday, he was injured”
“I hope for him that he will be fine for the World Cup”, Manager Bruno Genesio said.
Ghana can not offered to lose the 20-year forward as they show up in Qatar for their fourth FIFA World Cup.
Sulemana is a key member of the Black Stars and is among three tipped players to inspire the West African Country to a successful campaign in Qatar.
