Ghana midfielder Kudus Mohammed suffers injury in Ajax 2-1 win over Feyenoord
Black Stars midfielder Kudus Mohammed on Wednesday night could not enjoy full throttle of Ajax Amsterdam Cup game against Feyenoord due to an injury he sustained.
Kudus,22, once again commanded a starting berth for the Dutch giants who thump Feyenoord 2-1 at home in KNVB Beker semi-finals but was taken off after picking an injury a minute past the hour mark.
He was replaced by Chico in the 61st minute when his outfit were leading 2-1.
14th minute goal from Dusan Tadic was cancelled on the struck of half time by Giménez but Davy will deny the host the opportunity to lead by scoring Ajax second goal in the 51st minute.
The extend of Kudus Mohammed injury is not confirmed yet as the medical team are expected to access his situation on Thursday but it doesn’t look too dangerous.
The Ghana international has been in blistering form for both club and country, scoring 18 goals and five assists including four UEFA Champions League goals and two FIFA World Cup goals.
