The Ajax Amsterdam midfielder will be missing in action for the Dutch club in the coming weeks after sustaining an injury few days ago.

Kudus, 22, suffered from a knock on Tuesday evening in Ajax away Cup game to Feyenoord and could not enjoy full throttle of the game. The injury saw him replaced in the 61st minute when he had helped Ajax take a 2-1 lead in the KNVB Beker Cup semi-final, which eventually stood as final scoreline.

The Ghana international sustained a muscle injury which will take him away for quiet a long time.

According to reports in the Netherlands, Mohammed Kudus could be out for two to three weeks after visiting the treatment room.

Kudus has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in the Dutch Eredivisie for Ajax while posing as Ghana’s best player at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He scored twice and assisted once for the Black Stars despite the team’s early exit under Otto Addo.
