Ghana midfielder Kudus Mohammed scores and assist in Ajax 2-4 victory over Heerenveen
Ghana international, Kudus Mohammed with his splendid performance on Sunday against Heerenveen, registered a goal and assist.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder opened the scoring account for the visitors in the 10th minute mark before Edson Alvarez made it 2-0 six minutes later. Kudus provided the assist to Ajax second goal scored by Alvarez as well.
In the 19th minute, Steven Bergwijn extended the lead for Ajax with a cool finish before Pelle van and Amersfoort reduced the deficit for the host on the stroke of halftime.
Kenneth Taylor made it 4-1 for the visitors in the 52nd minute before Heerenveen’s Van Hooijdonk 72nd minute goal ended the match in a six-goal thriller.
The Black Stars midfielder , enjoyed full throttle of the game to clinch the MVP award of the game.
Kudus now has been involved in 23 goals for Ajax across all competitions this season, scoring 18 times and providing five assists.
