Ghana forward John Antwi joins Jordanian club Al Faisaly SC
Ghanaian forward Johan Antwi has completed a move to Jordanian club Al Faisaly SC.
The prolific striker after spending several seasons in the Egyptian top-flight, made a switch to the Jordan league, signing a season contract with Al Faisaly Sporting Club.
The 30-year-old is expected to play a huge role for the club who are aiming to clinch the league title this season.
Currently, Al Faisaly sit top of the standings with 51 points after 22 matches into the season.
Antwi who had stint with Ghanaian clubs, Dreams FC and Eleven Wise before departing the shores of Ghana has immensely paid his dues in Egypt having spent many season’s in there.
With his vast, experience Antwi is hoping to inspire his new club to laurel after this season.
He featured for clubs in Egypt, including giants Al Ahly, Ismaily, Misr El-Makasa, El Gaish and Pyramids SC in the North African country.
The Ghana international made 193 appearances during his stay in Egypt, scoring 77 goals and providing 19 assists.
