Spanish-based Black Stars striker, Iñaki Williams on Tuesday night scored against Osasuna to bring an end his long standing goal drought.

The attacker in 5-months not scored for both club and country but registered his name on the scoresheet to relief him of pressure. Inaki, 29, since November last year failed to net for his country and that of Athletico Bilbao which counts close to 17 matches.

On Tuesday, he scored the opening goal of the encounter as Bilbao hosted Osasuna in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final tie.

His last goal came against Udinese in a friendly game back in December.

His last competitive goal, however, was against Villarreal in October 2022, which makes it 23 competitive appearances without a goal.

However, the player will feel relieved after a goal in a long while.
