Ghana forward Emmanuel Gyasi scores in Spezia’s draw with Atalanta
Spezia clashed with Atalanta on Seria A return at the Stadio Alberto Picco on Wednesday.
Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi scored the opener for his side in their 2-2 draw with Atalanta. The Italian based striker pounced on Nzola’s beautiful cross from the right flank to slot home the first goal in the 8th minute of the first half.
Before half time, Angolan forward M’bala Nzola doubled Spezia lead for Luca Goti’s side.
His 31st minute goal ensured Spezia were on to the right path to victory.
However, they failed to hold on to their lead as Hojlund and Pasalic scored two late goals to snatch a point in what could have been a famous victory for them.
Spezia are 17th on the table with 14 points after 16games, just five (5) points above the relegation zone.
